Drafting a Cmon Army:Banding for charity

I\'ve been quietly following this since Becca twisted my arm last Friday. I don\'t know WH from squat and am very glad to have Citidel color standards to work from. Someone (TAB, Greenstuff, Tammy or whoever is in charge of this) please, tell me what mini to get and/or paint. Cool if we can get it for free or discount, but as long as it is within the $5-$20 range, it is do-able.

I am Kevin Bressman, age 45 and I\'ve been painting for 25 plus years, but to game table standard. The last 2 years, I have really been trying to paint to a higher standard. My standing is very close to the middle of CMON (last I checked).

On behalf of Jakob Rune Nielsen and Rune Kappel: you can count us in.

It\'s a great idea, and we would both like to support it.

We suggest that we paint a Maneater each, as Andy Cromwell also mentioned painting one, it would add up to 3, which is a unit (as far as I have understood from the Ogre Kingdom Rulebook??)

It\'s a long thread - with a lot of stuff discussed - so if there is something else that would be more appropiate for us to paint, we are open to suggestions.

Wow I\'m starting to feel small amongst all the big names joining in on the project. Well glade to have you all abord :D
I\'l try and go contact the french gods I know of, some might be interested in joining and since they don\'t understand english I\'ll try to outlay the project as best as I can.

Me too frenchkid but it is fun though and all these great talents should realy help our cause.

A bit more information about me my ranking is 670 I haven\'t figured out yet how to get it to appear in my postings.

Well, I guess I\'m the lowest ranked guy around(don\'t know why ??? ??? ) I\'ll try to do the best I can. But I guess 3 maneaters is okey ;)

Sounds like a good idea to me, even if it\'s not totally part of the army list, it\'ll give the buyer a some options and also some other cool models (especially with you and Jakob involved)

Jappobra, you need to have at least 5 miniatures, with more than 50 votes each, before your correct rank is displayed.

I wish I could join this thing as I think it\'s a great idea, but I have just too many things I need to do right now that I can\'t commit to yet another. I wish you the best of luck, though!

I have worked as painter for RAFM and for the Italian importer of 1999 (Cell Ent.) and Mage Knight Metal

Other things... My site is the most visited in Italy so count on me to spread the news around here ;)

I can paint one or two Ogres or up to 5 Gnoblars, actually I dont have GW paints but I can buy them if I cannot find the right Valleyo or Andrea proxies.

Just a word because it hasn\'t been mentioned enough (IMHO) : thank you very much Becca (ipaintminis) for compiling the list of who has entered :).

As for who is in charge, I\'d like to think it as collegial :
*) ipaintminis : has been compiling the list, giving good ideas, and really pushed the project to make it real;
*) TAB Studio started the thread, has been helping out with the organisation, and has proposed web space to host the project;
*) Tammy has been contacting all the people who she knows at GW to see what help we can get, has offered to be responsible in front of GW, and she will be designating who will paint what;
*) I came up with the initial idea and have been trying to help out as best as I can.

@frenchkid : yes please do contact them. I thought they where busy on a charity sculpting projet, but having them also would be great :).

@Frustrated Father : I like the banner, but could you make it standard size please?
