Just to let you know I dont mind what I have to paint should be good fun whatever.
I think the idea of havig personalized tattos sounds good and I dont have a problem with piercings.

I think that would be great Green Stuff. I think that those who are good at sculpting (like green stuff) or converting should do what they wish because that kind of \"uniqueness\" is good, and doesn\'t create disunity like different painting styles and bases can. Agree anyone?

@james9487 : I\'m really for that kind of stuff too. But we have to respect the delais that will be set to finish the army and not do anything too wild.

Ex : as much as I would like to do a Fiona, it wouldn\'t be in the spirit of the army.

So as long as it adds character to the army, respects it\'s core traits, and doesn\'t end up as an impossible thing to do in a reasonable time, I say yes to those who can ;).

Well I\'ve just been practising some sculting on my Ogre- I will try and get some pics.

It\'s only minor things, like tears in clothes and a scar across the eye. I am assuming that these kind of things are \'allowed\'...

Ah, so it\'s the nameplate for the display. In that case I can do better than sculpting. I can make it in brass since I know basic jewellery making. What I\'m thinking is a brass plate flanked with tusks, the main text \"Cool mini or not, paint aid, 2005\" and if I find enough place the initials of the participants on the background. That\'s easier to do in brass anyway. What do you think?

Counters? What should they look like?

Strange thing though, in the french version, I only found 3 types of counters. The 3 other are blood, a brain, and bones. If counters exist for the english version, could somebody please post a picture of them. Thanks :).

This is all so fun and exciting, you all are just a giant pile of brilliant people. The only negative to this entire project is the waiting, and that\'s just because I\'m so excited about getting started on my little contribution to the effort! :)

Ok, can do, but I\'ll need permission from GW in this case. Since some of you are in touch with them, can you ask?

Two questions, size of counters and size of nameplate (we can decide on that when we\'ve got the discussion on the base done).

I\'ll ask GW France tomorrow.

For the size of the counters, how about the size of a 50 Euro cent coin (24 mm in diameter)?

Well I said I\'d do the pictures so here they are, nothing spectaular (he was originally going to be holding a sack (or a Gnoblar- but that was too cruel) but that fell apart), so I went for a bird on a chain.

I figured that it was too small to be enjoyed byan Ogre lol.

Anyway, @ green stuff- the wear and tear on his pants was what I was referring to as well as the scraps of Green stuff represting torn clothing etc was what I was referring to.

Hey everyone,

I think this project is really cool, and I hope it\'s not too late, but I\'d like to contribute. I won the slayer sword this past year at the Baltimore Games Day, and I don\'t claim to be a huge name, but a \"slayer sword winner\" in the auction couldn\'t hurt. It\'d really mean a lot, since I have a very good friend who is Sri Lankan, and whose parents just moved back this past summer (thankfully they\'re in the North). Maybe I could do a Maneater or something? Thanks :)

Looking back, you cannot really see the tears etc, but as long as you get the jist.

I\'m sorry for the multitude of posts regarding this- I am looking forward to such a good project and well...

I must apologise if anyone is sick of my postings especialy if it seems trivial.

Just one last thing, though.

This is just my own idea...

It is incredibly crude, but this a mock up of the symbol.

What do you think?

give him an eye patch and a wooden leg :D

hm by the way i\'ll add some more details to my \"id\" since that makes administration and localization a lot easier and i guess the communication shouldnt be limited on this thread because i reckon that would lead to a total mess :)

i would paint anything and have no problems with buying the stuff on my own account
im confident that i can buy anything \"Pre Release\" like some maneaters, leadbelchers or perhaps a special character since they\'re not included in the army box
at least i\'ll try :]

edit: come to think about, most products in germany are released like 2 weeks later than in the uk or us so i guess if its pre release for me its not for you lol
