Ow yeah, a pose somewhat like a Wolvering hulking pose would be great for launcing missiles me thinks.

:snicker: The last time I tried to pull of a Wolverine pose met with limited success. Although a squatting termie would be quite the sight on the table.... :-D

just a small point ...but if a normal bod can fire lets say a javelin for example without falling on his ass/face then im reasonably confident that a steriod munching genetically engineered super soldier in power armour extreme should be able to pop off a few rounds from said multiple rocket launcher with no problems.....just an observation...probably standing on one foot if he wanted to.

most systems pop the pojectile before the main rocket fires cant see why the 40k model shouldnt, im gonna go back to my room now before i upset someone/anyone potentially that is.

And after i saw the 40.000 ultramarines movie im pretty sure that those terminators can even do triple backflips and shoot a shit load of em rockets while flying to the air spinning like mad men.

Sweet Lucy! Lots of action over the old termies... and them still in their blu-tac diapers...

Honestly, posing is the hardest part for me to get 'the look' I'm after so I'm happy for any suggestions - ranging from 'dude that guy looks like he's a carnival performer in mid-act!' to 'jeez did grandpa suit up and then take a nap on the base!' :snicker:

I think #3 needs some love - for some reason he feels way too bland at the moment... any thoughts on what to do with him? Maybe I should go full out crazy action with him just for giggles...

I hope the instructions work out. It's my first attempt at a how too and it was a bit more difficult to explain what I was doing than I thought! Feel free to drop me a note if you have any questions!

The verdict is HOLY SHIZZNIT THEY'RE AWESOME! Numbers one and two are definite home runs. I agree that no. 3 doesn't quite look as badass as the other two. But as Cassar said, he's got his own expression.

I'm curious about your process to build these guys. I can tell it looks as if you've skinned the legs and bulked them out with an additional layer. It's hard to tell from the pics how much else is green/brown stuff and what's normal termi bits. I'd love to get a more detailed how-to from you, as I may have to do something similar if I ever get around to a new termi squad for my Night Lords. Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery right?

Now I know they're close to being done when they can get a great reaction like that! I'll be happy to prep a step by step guide for them. I'm fresh out of basic termies at the moment and my afternoon trip to my FLGS yielded an annoying out of stock result. I should be able to get the raw materials for next weekend and start the slow process of turning a regular termie into a big a$$ one! It's actually not terribly hard, just slow. I have to wait on the GS to dry overnight since I keep the house on a cool 55-60 degrees farenheit...

Keeping with this theme I think this slightly revised pose gives a good "WTH?" look...




With the slight tilt he gives the impression that he is looking at some big old beasties and thinking about what to do next! At least that's what I'm hoping the pose says...
