Good mornin\' people,
First, Reverend, no ill will, as I stated. You\'ll find that I speak my mind as well - we\'ll knock heads someday but such is life.
As for the press release, yes, I was approached about that last night and I\'ve been thinking on it and will try drafting up something suitable. I was hoping to know a bit more about GW possible involvement before really diving into it, but I\'m sure I can manage something, hopefully it will meet with approval but we\'ll have a few of you proof it and help with the editing on it.
As for the painting and all the rest - colors have more or less been picked out, bases I believe are being worked on (damn, no corking for me this time around) and it seems the only thing we are all lacking in right now is the general miniatures and doleing out of who does what as well as a general timeline.
Now, if GW gets on board, all the better and I\'m sure we\'ll find a way to get the miniatures (mail, pick them up .. dunno). If they don\'t though, we\'re going to need to dig into the pockets and head for the stores with miniatures in mind or order them outright. Supervike and Dragonsreach have offered up their hard earned money (very charitable of you gents) and TAB Studios has offered to get them at cost through her retail buisness which should help some with the cost.
That being said, and I\'m sure it is being worked on behind the scenes, but what size army are we talking about now and the break down more or less of who gets assigned what and how many of this or that? I figure we more or less have the number of people that are going to be on board for this, with perhaps an addition or three but I don\'t think that\'s going to make a world of differnce with what we\'re planning on for the moment.
Now, I realize that some of this may not be up for being answered at the moment as we\'re still unsure of GW\'s involvement, so feel free to tell me to put the air brakes on.
Also, I know a timeline of three to four weeks was put together. Do we have some dates in mind at the moment? Something along the lines of, everyone pick up their miniatures or order them (give a grace period of a week or so I would guess), then two or three solid weeks of painting, everything has to be done by XX date and has to be shipped by XX date.
Also, have we decided who we are shipping this army to directly at the moment? Whomever receives it is going to have a large responsibility of getting the army organized, pictured, packed up proper and of course placed on ebay.
I\'m certain that much of this has been discussed, I figured some of us \'peons\' might want to know.
