Down, But Not Out

Thanks for the kind words Kuribo. It's always nice to get words of encouragement.

Managed a couple more hours on "Down, But Not Out". Still trying to wrap my head around how to approach his hat, so focussed on his shirt and bow tie. Lots of fun working on it so far.

Blocked in the jacket colour and started on some shadows. Once the jacket is complete, I'll move on to the fancy patterned hat.

No major update. Started working on a brown tweed hat, but it was washed out by the brown jacket, so back to the drawing board.

Next up, grey hat.

Thanks Coyote. I'm pleased with the progress. It's been a learning experience for me. I've pushed contrasts further than I normally do and it makes a huge difference.

And he's done. I finished up the Great Depression bust from Mollies Miniatures and am very pleased with the result.

Next up up will be the second bust in the line, a farmer during the Dust Bowl.
