Catelyn Stark
This is a miniature of the character Catelyn Stark, from George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire book series. As she is a Stark, it seemed fitting to paint her in cool, winter colours. It also made a nice contrast with her auburn hair. I tried to paint the dress as a shiny, colour-shifting fabric. This piece was awarded Second place in the George R. R. Martin category, and Third in the overall Dark Sword Miniatures Single category.
