Visbaronetess Delour Aulamaxa

This is the Visbaronetess Delour Aulamaxa, an NPC in a Pathfinder adventure. I wanted to paint her the moment I saw the sculpt. She was painted to match the artwork on the cover of the adventure, and I had a lot of fun painting the rich colours and unusual skin tones.

As she is in a classic singer pose, I thought a breaking glass would be a fun way to finish off the scene. I cut up a brush protector into little pieces of varying shapes, found a picture of a goblet in mid-shatter, and carefully glued pieces together to try to convey that shape.

My step-father is a cabinet maker, and made the base. I etched, painted and stained the top of it to resemble a wooden stage floor.

This is an amusing figure, well-painted and based. The broken glass is very cleverly done.
