Female Mage from Castle of Deception
I painted this to study and practice the principles of painting source lighting effects, in preparation for teaching a class on the subject. It ended up being a pretty effective way for me to learn more about the topic, too. As I wanted people to be able to compare the mini to an earlier version, I painted it with just the integral base and no additional basing materials.
