Geisha Assassin
This is a lovely figure, and I very much enjoyed the opportunity to paint it for the Dark Sword studio collection. I started by doing a little research on geishas, but it soon became clear that it is a complex tradition, so this is painted as more of a fantasy geisha. The kimono pattern was inspired by a photo of a contemporary kimono design that I fell in love with. I first did a quick test of the colour transition and then some freehand over it on another figure to make sure it would look effective on a gaming scale miniature.
