I really liked the noir detective feel to this sculpt and tried to accentuate that with my paint job and setting. The coat was especially fun to paint. I was going for tarred road on the base, but I sort of wish I'd done it more as cement, as the blood doesn't really stand out against the darker colour.

Love this figure. The chalk outline is a great idea, and I really love the coloring on his trenchcoat.

Texture on the hat, cartoony dark lining, sharp creases on the trousers and a chalk outline! This is great. The blood works for me, immediately obvious what it is without pulling the eye down from Max. To be picky I'd like to see the gaps between the asphalt & the slotta filled ;) Good stuff Wren.
