I have fairly long hair, and I enjoy painting hair, so as soon as I saw this mini, I wanted to get it and paint it! I painted most of it in 2008, then had to put it aside for other things. Finally I got back to finishing the base and doing touch-ups to get her ready for Gen Con 2009. Lovely model, and fun to paint. I was very pleased when she was awarded First place in the Wyrd Games manufacturer category. The pants have a bit more of a worn leather texture than is coming through in the photographs, but I haven’t figured out how to take pictures that show it better.

Loved the hair and attention to details (especially the design around the top of the hat). Loved that the colors blended with the cactus, and the choice of cream top rather than colored was genius - it helps draw attention AWAY from the breasts, so that one has to enjoy the other features of the mini.

Great job. Im am getting ready to paint one of these before long. You did a great job on the hair and I really like the shirt. Your use of yellows as a shadow color look very good. I might steal this tech from you.
