Ametrine Earthlyte
Ametrine is another figure painted to enter into Season 7 of Iron Painter over at Wyrd Games. The theme for that round was ‘full metal jacket’. I was pretty pressed for time that round, so I just went with a model I had ready to go that had a decent amount of metal parts on it. So it’s probably no surprise that I lost that round. :-> I did put a lot of attention into the metals, glazing them down into the shadows with matte paints and using alcohol metallics for the brightest hotspots. I later went back and did some glazes to warm up both the skin and hair, but if I wait until I have the time/energy to take new pictures, I’ll never get my CMON postings caught up!
