Concubine, Femme Fatale II Entry
This was my entry to Wyrd Games Femme Fatale II contest, where it earned Third Place in the Simply Scandalous Category. (Bested by Ritual's talented paint job on the same figure, and Ana's mind-blowing best in show work on another Hasslefree figure, 40mm Artemis.) I was really trying to push myself with the skin painting on this one - experimenting with using a lot of green in the shadows and more directional light than I usually use. I have donated this figure to the Project Jester fund. Robert "Jester" Cruse (posts as Jesterspeed on CMON) is a well-known and well-liked professional painter who has been unable to work for months because of two successive spinal surgeries. Folks in the mini community are trying to help him out by donating limited edition and painted miniatures and game materials for auction, and this is my little contribution.
