I tried to post this one last night , when I posted the back wiew (#14902). I guess it wasn't accepted at the time, so I'm trying again. Although I no longer have this particular mini, I'd still like to hear what other painters, collectors, and fans of painted miniatures think.

Actually, what looks like his ribcage is really an ornate breastplate and his right leg has a gaurd on the thigh - but it was a very good call. Metal and bone do look too much alike, particularly since I had to really shrink down the photo. I will keep that in mind when I paint this guy again!

I do like the sword and the spearhead the best. The overall mini is vry cool but some of the work is lacking. The photo makes the bone look too similar to the armor ( I think it is the photo) and the deep red cloak and plume could use some highlights :D

(6.5) The sword looks a little crudely painted, but the overall effect is just fine. A good Undead hero or command group figure.
