Great weekend!
Drank myself dry on Friday with Rob, Tony, John, Nigel, Matty, and a few respective partners. Had some lovely curried goat in the Caribbean place outside Excel. Talked myself hoarse, bending quite a few ears (sorry!). Spent too much - including the ubiquitous Smart Max. Have sore feet.
Oh and sorry to confuse you with the quick Hi and Goodbye at the end of the day, Mike

Was a great event, wonderful to meet everyone, and the quality of the competition was really good. So that will teach me for feeling smug about entering the sci-fi squad category
The Smart Max stand was definitely the place to avoid if you wanted to be able to afford dinner afterwards
And sorry I missed a few of you.
Luke, I did have a good look at your Hordes piece in the Cabinets, really nice, but I couldn\'t get a view of the hair at the back and sorry I missed you, would have been good to have a chat (Either that or my brain has blanked an hour on me)
And Peter, couldn\'t find you after I had collected my squad, I\'ll try and get some decent pics up soon.
So well done to all the winners

thank you everyone for a really great day...everyone is so nice and helpful and generous (thanks Mickc22!), it was a pleasure to hang out and see how different you all look in the flesh!

Well it was a good day.
Friday drink was a great night, really enjoyed mixing alcohol and chatting to fellows painting freaks.( Rob, John, Tony, Matty, Scott, Louie and the suffering ladies of Deana, Laura and Kylie. )
I had a bit of a hangover most of Saturday but twas still excellent.
I think I may have been slightly rude to a few people... oops. I am usually such a nice fellow.
Painting comp was great and there were some really good entries in the cabinets.
Well done to all the winners.
I only bought one Smart Max mini. I was going to buy more but my Mrs gave me the look and I decided against it.
I think I still managed to miss loads of people.
