I love Mr honk but didn\'t pick him up and am indeed now kicking myself.. of course it\'s not like I\'m gonna run out of stuff to paint before I get him ........

Well It\'s more a soft Space Wolf Grey than Blue.
The base is one that was turned for me and has acted as the inspiration for the bases I now turn on my own lathe.
However I prefer not to make them quite as tall, trying to stay at or below 2cm to maintain a visual balance.

Which reminds me I think I need to put an order together for some more American Black Walnut. Sawdust City here I come.

I had a great time there and met so many people I\'ve been talking to for the last couple of years. Roger and I will have pictures up asap but probably not before Monday at the earliest and maybe a bit later than that.

OK, the webmaster is on holiday at the moment so I\'ve added some pictures to Media fire of the winners. I\'ll add notes as to who is who, but basically the files name denotes \"Category-Placing-Entrynumber-Category.jpg\"
