Not really a popular option in these forums it seems, but I grew up on various forms of rock, and have gotten rather tired of the genre. So while I still have all that around, I hardly ever put it on.

I can\'t be the only one?!
No, I don\'t listen to rock much either. I usually listen to ambient, softer industrial or electronica when painting. Otherwise I listen to more pounding industrial or various forms of electronic music.

\"Da Blues Bruthahs?\"

Great movie, indeed.

For myself, when painting, I either have movies on the DVD player, or I listen to celtic music, depending on what I\'m painting.

my list...

My favourites are reggae, soca, calypso, chutney...

I also listen to some hip-hop/R&B, and dance.

Finally, some oldies and classical, but mainly the above \'clubbin\' music.

When I paint though, i do not have any music playing; instead I work in silence essentially.

Too many to list...

But right now I am enjoying the album Mezzanine by Massive Attack. Franz Ferdinand will always be a favourite of mine, so will Gorillaz. I also like Sigur Rós, Arcade Fire, and The Strokes a lot. Muse\'s new album has a few dud/filler tracks, but Take A Bow and Supermassive Black Hole are fantastic songs, well worth a listen :D As I say, too many to list but these are my favourites off the top o\' my head ;)

Ok, I\'ll tell ya. I kinda go out of my way to not like the same music Chav\'s are into, but you might disagree. I always liked Hip Hop but I went off that over a year and half ago. You might not expect it, but I\'m really into Dancehall, Reggae and Soca. Cuz I\'m a Soca warrior!

Its like the Guinness advert. Bill takes a pint of Guinness, rewinds back into a Penguin, and then back into a Marmouset, where he takes a sip of the pond water and goes \'phleugh\'. Thats when the screen with the pint on says \'Some things are worth waiting for\' at the bottom. :)
