Queen Elizabeth

I found the gown I painted her in on a historical site. Rich fabrics and heavily, brocade patterns were a sign of wealth and prestige; although, not the best sculpting, I attempted to paint her as pretty as possible given her lack of make-up, pale complection and rather plain look. This 25mm is a commissioned figure and she is adorned with several strands of pearls, garnets, black onyx and gold. In her hands she holds a fan and a pair of gloves. Based simply on a cherry stained, polymer coated wood triangle.

Nice! The brocade pattern is lovely, and I really like the look of the red overdress. I also see you have her suitably historically pale with all her lead powder on. :-> Though I think she'd benefit from a little darklining around the eyes.
