‘The Devious Distracter’ This auction is for fairy sculpture No.108 entitled, ‘The Devious Distracter’ *Aliz* and she’s definitely, full of the devil! Have you ever gotten up to do something, or made it halfway up a flight of stairs only to be dumb-struck and suddenly rendered forgetful? Blame it on this mischievous, little fairy…..This is her only job and she does it very well! Ms. Heimer is a seasoned distracter and she has honed her skills with years of practice. She’ll use any tools at her disposal; hat pins, feathers and she’s not above using a match on occasion, so beware and watch what you leave lying around. This fairy lies in wait in the shadow of the seventh step allowing you time to think you know what you’re doing and where you’re going; but alas, you’ll soon swear you’re suffering from sporadic bouts of dementia. She has dark brown hair, hand-painted and sealed blue eyes with a playful glint, glossy pink lips, blushed cheeks and nails. Her gossamer wings have an iridescent sparkle with a translucent, blue glaze. This fairy is 5-3/4” long in her crouched position. Thank you for viewing my auctions and good luck!
