Sir Guy the Red Knight Reaper #02410

I am really enjoying painting these awesome Reaper knights. This is my third one and I seem to be able to paint one a week. I continue to study the art of color blending and highlighting. I think I am improving. The "magic solution" really seems to work well with practice. I really like the Valleyo game colors. They mix well and stick to the mini. The light colors cover over black primer no problem. Any helpful comments as always are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's nice what you have done with the colour red on this mini....despite the bold strokes of orange on the clothes I like the look of this mini.. great job! :)

Ah yes, the blending/ highlighting are coming along and your steadily improving your techniques! Aplause, aplause!! Glad to hear the 'Magic Solution' is working for you and your efforts are visable. I especially love the highlighting on his cloak. Gosh, at this rate, by the time you reach your seventh Knight, we should be seeing 10's here!:o).....Ready for your NMM lesson? Thanks very much for the helpful comments. I am still working on learning to highlight effectively. I think with a few more minis I will learn to do it right.
