I don't really like the Clan War mini's much, but I love Samurai! I used my own colour scheme to represent a more historical look (russet coloured iron, gold laquer etc.), rather than use the CW paint scheme. Please post comments and let me know how you like it.

Tengu, your work shows promise. Thinner paints will help out with the smoothness issues, as Glyn notes. Color choices are good, and the simple pattern is well executed. Try addings inks to deepen the metallics.

Well, first off, I must say the picture is not the best. However... I think the face colors could have been thinned alittl emore to get smoother coverage, though the shading looks pretty good. The eyes are nice, all things considered. Shirt is cool. Maybe more depth in colors but the pattern is simple but effective :) I like the shading on the gold, and the leather armor plates look nicely weathered! Interesting looking base materials as well. All in all, a decent first post!!! - Glyn
