Fianna Musician

First let me say, that being a musician myself and a blonde, swayed my choice of colors for this beautiful lady.... You are bidding on one, 25mm meticulously painted miniature from Rackham, FIANNA MUSICIAN. Her eyes, which were sculpted completely closed, have been painted slightly opened for a nicer appearance. She has been painted in soft pastels of sage green, violet and cotton candy pink. It took multiple layers of shading, blending and highlighting to achieve just the right balance. All gold and silver have been painted using the Non-metallic metal technique(NMM). Precious rubies adorn her body and sword. She stands on a 20mm, game-legal square base at waters edge. Painted rocks, medium green mix and static grass finish the look.

The green and pinks were a little bright to me at first. but I went to another pic then came back to give it another look. I would have maybe used a little more subtle colour. But what you have done is really nice.

Thank you...I appreciate all constructive critiques and I've been having alot of difficulty with lighting and photograghy. She is really not as light in person, but I prefer not to enhance my photos in any way. However, I shall try using softer lighter. Thanks for the compliments as well. Faye Nail

Very nice, if a little too pink for my taste. lol I think your skin blending is very good, but it is hard to tell do to the picture, too much light. Gems really have a nice sparkle. My only suggestion, other than try some softer lighting for the pic, is to try some fine black lining, I think it would bring out all the nice details better.
