Fast! and nice yellow/orange it looks great from this side of the monitor ^^

Thanks.
It is a bit bright but the base is a mix of plaster, paint and fibre based snow flock.
Looks a little like white candy floss in real life.

You could sell that in Pittsburgh... all our professional sports team have the same color scheme!

Great job, friend!

Thanks guys! Krule, I know! I kept thinking that while I was painting it.
I've moved on to the ninja now. So far only done the cloth but already I'm quite pleased. My problem is what areas to paint orange to help it sit with the rest of the force. Any ideas? I think subtle. Maybe just the quiver or scabbard?

Your def have commandeer over these tiniest of models...infinity isn't an easy model range....crisp sharp and clean are their casts but they still are very tiny nonetheless and for that alone ide say fantastical job....now let me talk about the painting.....in a word....it's brilliant...each one you have successfully attempted and completed what you were looking for and the final results at this time are nothing short of extraordinary!!! Way to go.

Almost Perftec! Aw, crap.
Wow love that high gloss effect! Maybe use a desaturated orange and you can use more than if it was just pure?

Dude, each successive figure is getting better and better! You're improving at an astronomical rate. I'm loving the blue and the contrast on the ninja. For the orange, hmmm, like you said, throw some on the quiver and scabbard, or a couple stripes on the bow maybe? And/or some of the small accents on the armor would pop well with the blue. Idk, just some thoughts. Keep it up!

This is my favorite so far. Really well done for far.

If you want subtle orange, I'd say the hilt of the sword and the handle of the bow. Both are central to the figure, will be easily noticable, without distracting from the overall piece. Great work!

Thank you all so much for the kind words and advice. These infinity minis are certainly small but they're great fun to paint.
The ninja is now finished! Very pleased with it.

I'm a member over at the infinity forum. A v friendly bunch over there and everyone is helpful so I put together a little step by step to show how I approach the yellow/orange armour. Thought I'd post it here as well. The model is another ju jing infinity model. This time Sun Tze. My favourite yu jing so far.

Just stunning. You can easily see where you glaze back to define those shapes more with the rough highlights from early on in the process.

Thanks Kretcher. I can't take all the credit for the colours. I've followed Angel Giraldez recipe for the yellows. I'm pretty pleased with the ninja though. Not seen one like that before.

Gorgeous infinity minis. Loving the step by step as well, that subtle jump between the third and fourth picture really makes the mini great.
