Models not getting as many votes as they used to?

This seems to still be happeneing..

I've got stuff that's been on 44 votes for about a month..

or am I missing something and it's just that I'm not that popular? :)

The same as you loads of stuff still stuck in the 40's for well over a month some for about three months! Real shame as its the ones I've posted recently which are getting 7's and 8's but of course not enough votes on them to matter. Some people have started just posting on the forums only and not bothering with the voting which I think is a real shame but hey unless it improves what are you going to do?

It looks like no models from today's batch are tallying votes. Some of them have 250+ views and still on the 1st vote. This is such a bummer -- why can't the CMON crew get this fixed?!!? I know many people who post here are web designers, and I'm sure they'd donate their time to figure out the problem. CMON has become almost entirely focused on selling stuff and the voting has been completely fallen by the wayside.

I don't know; if people aren't voting then what are they going to do? Don't think this is a problem that can be "fixed" maybe something that has to be encouraged instead like some sort of incentive like being put into a raffle if you manage to vote on so many minis in a month or something I dunno.

Yes I have certainly noticed a huge drop in the number of votes I can expect to see within 24 hours of a miniature going "active", this time a year or go (or so) my miniatures would have almost 50 votes on them 24 hours after going live, at the moment they have only 25 ish each - are there less members active these days or something? Most of my votes are from unregistered users it seems . . .

Right now let me be the first to say I frequently get things wrong and jump to conclusions etc so this is probably my fault somehow:) however the voting definitely appears to be broken. Gasp shock horror now votes do not appear to being counted. For example my varghar model has been on 48 votes for the last week or so now however I've received two posted comments yesterday one form 10 ball and one from majestic0110 however the number of votes has not changed and despite getting very high votes from both of them neither has the overall score. The same appears to have happened with the Aenur diorama comments left with scores but no change to the number of votes and no change to the overall score. Not just me saying this as majestic revisited the site and placed another vote to make up for the fact that no vote registered we both took note of the number of votes and left it for a couple of hours or so and yep no change.

So on the face of it I think ( please refer to previous statement about me being a der) the proof is that at least in some cases the voting is indeed.........broken.:(

Ok update time 19.40 vote added to varghar no sight of the vote for Aenur. Still the original votes not added or it would be three higher. So around 4 and a half to 5 hours for the radio button vote to register and the original votes from the posted comments over two days later no sign.

Yet again let me say this might well be my fault, (it normaly is), but in all honesty I can't see how. :hypnotized:

I just came back to CMON from a long break. The whole idea of the site originally was all about the voting - hence the name. I hope this issue gets sorted out. In the meantime I'll check out y'alls minis and VOTE!

Just my two cents worth. Sick in bed yesterday, so I spent ages voting then went on the forums for a couple of hours and then back on the voting when half the minis I voted on in the morning came up again, not registering my earlier votes. Now I've been voting for an hour or so, and whatya know? Some of the same minis. My two have been up since early oct and nearly hit 50.
