Luna wolves paint scheme

I still cant get over how good the skin is, only prob is the closest pics make the paint look a bit thick still.
An i think the stubble haircut is a cool idea, maybe a few glazes around the edges building up to the main hair colour may make it look more realistic. it may look diff in he flesh though.
And the gray is really cool, i think u hav the colour on point

very well painted but dont like the eagle wing on his arm (just seems a little more emps kids to me, but good job)

Yea the model is ok, tbh looks more like a power armoured deathwing than captain garro (is too elaborate)

I hav been a little under the weather the last few. Dont wana paint the elves with snot lol.
As soon as im better i will also then i will hav nothin to stop me as i hav a solid two weeks off uni with no assignments
also i have too much creativity flying around me at the moment not to be painting. Think i hav found the models im using for eidolon an tarvitz as well.

So far im thinking the masters of chapter with hammer as eidolon. and maybe the master of watch as tarvitz (he has that warrior kinda look)
and the mk II veterens look like they mite b part of garro\'s squad- power fist matches decius\'s character perfectly.

Lookin real good i think the colour is spot on, maybe get the pics in a WIP thread so u can get every1 elses view.

Yea i wana make my return to mini painting a triumphant one.Jus taking its time damn winter/uni etc
Na they should be cool, from what u have shown me your a good painter. Maybe thin the paints a little more but i duno if thats the camera or not. At times they are really useful as well should be good.

thanks for the comment, feel im gettin better but then i see a mini on the gallery and think damn, back to the drawin board lol
paintin not gone to plan, have just finished his left arm, but would like to put some blood on the chainsword. need to find a good tutorial - will put the piccie up tonite or tomorrow.

im gona get two models primed an started on wednesday so WiP\'s will defo be up been to long a delay an im ready to get them painted,
and will be looking to buy the models for the pre heresy models.
Know what u mean about the gallery models, i just keep in mind that there are always gona b people who are better than you. But i look at their work for inspiration, this site is really good for tutorials.

not happy with the shoulder guard as i wanted the white highlight to show the curve but think i may have gone OTT n maybe need to tone it down. what do u think?

Yea its really coming along and looking good, just a comment i (personally) feel the chainsword should have been a different colour, just to break it up a bit. But the colour looks real nice. Still not sure whether the paint consistency is what it should be again it may be the pics as in diff photos the smoothness changes.
All is good this end just need to venture out and get a few new paints before i start my two models. I will joint WiP them. A high elf and a Wood elf. something nice to get the old brushes on. Then it will b some pre-heresy attempts i think and then some of my most prized models that i want to make sure im painting at my best as some are quite rare.

i agree the chainsword looks a little clean but wanted to stay true to the cover of false gods as much as possible which is y i thought of blood splatters.

Yea nurgle thrives in winter unfortunately only just recovering myself.
Hmm tough choice with the marine, though i think it would look cool as a luna wolf.
Yea those WiP\'s are getting ever closer, so far they are cleaned and practically ready to paint.

not since the last pic, finished work then bed ridden ever since
hoping to get some done this week. aim is to have him finished by nxt wkend so i can have a go at the next one - a few ideas in the pipeline, would like to try the scibor technique but not sure where to get super sculpey from so gotta look into it.
