Yea they are a pain but have to be done, nearly done the main one then can get the undercoat on my elves and start painting the two separate bits from there the WiP will be born :D

Look forward to the Luna wolves shame about the young one though, hopefully we will both finally get round to some painting. I think the 7th to the 21st will be time where i can get some serious amounts done.

Are you reading the 6th heresy book yet?

I have sterted reading it but as you said im not to sure about it, and i was looking forward to it the most, bein a dark angel fan, bu its got better as iv got thru it mite need to read it further though.

Haha i do apologise. Feel some pressure mount here as its been a long time since i painted.

The arm feels good though and i hope there shouldnt be many issues, jus been lookin around for some bits that mite make them look a little more pre heresy, u any ideas?

should be fun to paint tho, Eidolon Tarvitz and lucius will be my emp children characters.

And i will Garro\'s squad for death guard.

wonder what i could do next lol.

@ freakinacage, very nice model, love the rivets on the legs. what did u use for them?

re paint scheme:
not gonna use the shadow grey as it seemed too blue as opposed to grey to the rest.

@ freakincage- Loving the way you have portrayed them, as L.E.J said what did you use for the rivets? i was gona use the studded shoulder guard idea but was thinking of really simplifying the armour, to resemble just the plates.

I guess its back to the visions book lol.

@L.E.J- Looking good a few bits look as though they need a little more cleaning but so far looking cool. I have set myself a schedule firstly i hope to have the High elf Wip up monday(wednesday latest) and then i will be gettin bits for my emperors children then the death guard

yeah the link is very useful. gonna use the idea for my luna wolves, thanks.

have used a technique on the first marine that i havent used before: head stubble!

what do u think?

ps - the colour scheme on the rebreather is gonna go lighter but thinkin maybe only to space wolves grey, will post another piccie later to get ur thoughts

The skin is really good looks very smooth and very realistic.

Unsure so far on the stubble hair as the pics arent the best, so far tho lookin nice but if u can get a better angle. Will b able to tell better.

And i think if the rebreather is the colour of the armour then u have it spot on, tho i would use the space wolves very sparsely. very thin layer.

Looks good just need to get my act together
