thanks for the posts, very cool. I loved that preacher model but thought that it would be too dark to get the attention that it deserved from the judges. if i had known it was yours I would have liked to look at it closer under a light.

Just seeing it outside of the plexi-glass helped. I got to see it up close, it was dark, but great. It was a great look for the mini. But it was in a tough category, and the darkness may have hurt it as far as drawing attention when it came time for picking winners. But I really felt like it was going to place.

Congratulations to everybody! Looks like a really high level of competition (as it should be with so many former sword winners in attendance). Sounds like everybody had a great time as well, at least from listening to Mighty Chad regale me with tales of free coffee and speed painting madness. I think I'll have to mark my calendar now, (or whenever GW announce the date), and be sure to make the pilgrimage next year.
