Cheers Frzn. Just to keep you all updated, I'm currently waiting to hear back on whether I have a commission to paint Thanquol and Boneripper from the person that bought my verminlord. My days of painting large minis aren't over it seems (damn you BaM!).

Around that I've revised my Nighthaunt idea to go with a trio of these 3 lads:

WTF these are cool new HD! They made for me, except for the cleaning prep... Metal and fluff...Hmmm.. yeah definitely me. That last one I ma picking this guy up ASAP.

These new nighthaunt models look so cool... I was just about to pre-order the new AOS box but decided against it for now, at least until I clear out a bit of my backlog first... although I feel I might give in and get a couple of the hero figures when they are on the shelf, they look pretty damn cool!!!

The new AoS starter box is getting a lot of local people excited - both painters and gamers. GW is really things up to a new level lately.

Ask me why I always get two of everything!!! So I’ll have good ol Asian phenomena Janet NG she’ll out the dough for yes not one but 2 boxes of soul wars. She just knows I’m buying she has no idea what but my reasoning is if I have two I can go as nuts as I want ain’t freely and hey if I fuck things up or Sammy the mini hunter is out on the prowl as the apex predator he is then I can go into that fresh NEWCAR SENT BOX AND GRAB YHE OTHER COPY) ( which I’m certain they’ll sell these in a single item blister pack after they’ve milked all the idiots -LIKE ME) was there now you know and everybody’s saying what about all those other models in the box - oh those well they’ll go into the(possibly hack and slash convert or dio type column) or AKA “the I’ll never get to them category!!! Lolololol

Btw ORDERED already my 28 mm headstones and mausoleum markers as each of my three will be in 40mm spooky graveyard settings. Mini dips!!! Think bout that for a minute.boo

Wow, these models definitely seem to have struck a chord. I’ve ordered them separately from an eBay seller, can’t justify £100 for the full box. What I like is how simple they are, no more than a few elements on each mini so there should be plenty of room for painters to do their separate things.

BaM, I’ve got a load of ideas for basing, but I’m avoiding graveyards. I’ll let you tackle that one buddy

Yesssss I GOT SHOTGUN- I mean I’ve GOT GRAVEGUARDS!!! Lololol this is gonna be awesome I cannot wait to see what everybody does. I looooove looking at everybody’s stuff . I just can’t help myself . I hope unable to contain myself or I just might want to BUY each and everybody’s completed models under jans nose!!!;)

I'm not eyeing the exact same models as you Fox, but I am intrigued by this new army in Warhammer too. I think I'm going to try the Myrmourn Banshees since I like their scenic bases and they're dirt cheap for GW too. I don't know if I can join the paintalong but I'll definitely be watching your progress on them closely and sharing how I get on with them too as I think I may just go ahead and preorder them since they come out this next week.

I didn't need to watch this thread... I already bought the Box set and the Myrmourn Banshees box as well as the new technical paint to give it a try.

Was sniggering at that the other day...very funny...think theres a few doing the rounds with feather dusters etc as well.

Definately going to pick up the Lady Olynder model...looks like a great opportunity to try some ultra minimal, barely there painting...could be interesting
