Ah very good Vince, it works. ;) Din\'t know you need to extract something tho. But ok as long as all them avatars come up now.
I was a bit slow on the upload. Redownload the file, its enhanced so you are floating in the pool. :D

@FF Thanks, btw your Loc made it into the V1_5

EDIT: @IPM Yeah, and to see where vince has his pool or how close you guys live to the sea is fun. There\'s about 170 or so members in the file, but there\'s still some regulars missing I guess so in a few updates this\'ll be even bigger.

EDIT 2: Also This tool will be Handy for RR\'s ME\'s, Contests and other such projects. Ya can track stuff in 3D.:flip:

I think Zaphod is actually in Blackfalds, AB and twolson is in Edmonton. The map seems a bit off for those guys.

Zordana also appears in the middle of a patch of trees near Melbourne. Any chance she has a funky cool tree house? :)

Neat to see how some people live in large blurry areas (too much beer consumed in these areas?) and other like Zordanas you can see the clouds and the individual trees and such in beautiful clarity.

Really this is super cool. If I had the chance that it was real-time I\'d run out and moon the lot of you. :D

That Pink spot near Zordana looks like hobbitholes?

Gotcha Sax i\'ll move them around some more...

Chern is somewhere in a blurry, cloudy area in Singapore. ;)

Dang, Galante. :( Maybe a friend can give ya an XP as a secondary installation or you get some updates for ME, altough I doubt that there are...

:idea: As soon as everyone has the right spot and all the Avatars are on Ill make some gigantic Screenshots and put them on webserver for those that can\'t use the tool yet.

Oooohhhh :eek: Turn On the Volcano Layer and Earthquakes... Whoa... You Peops on the Westside have about 50 Volcanos all along the Coast.
And Wow the 3D view looks good on Mountains and stuff... All the red dots are Earthquakes and all in 1980... That Thing was bubbling...

Blows my theory that Supervike is the only person in Iowa.
Stern Kestrelmann seems to be there too.

I\'m amazed how many of us live in the woods (CFWheeler for example) - and since there are no woods in Texas, Chrispy lives in a river bed!


Oh, and Hawaii isn\'t much smoother!

Heh, I dropped you guys from orbit into your state... Woods, ok thats pretty easy to hit from 10 miles away without lookin\' I guess... But Chrispy in a riverbed, man what are the odds of that???
On a second thought, the odds are approx the same like dropping Vince onto a Freeway the first time round. lol

I love what you are doing. Thanks so much. I\'m having too much fun with this.

Check this out:
The green spots? Growing plants.
Note the parallel lines. Those are streets.
Note the big gray blob areas. That\'s where the lava flowed rubbing out houses and cutting off streets.
The big orange blobs? That\'s hot lava.

well i got my marker right on my house.... at first was pretty close to the mall that GW is in..... nice shot! however i dont go there much eny more.... no money for it lol

Holy! Where is that Vince? Are ya sure that stuff is hot lava? Might be sulphur residue or somethin, no? I mean active volcano? Right when they made the pic? That\'s even more unlikely than Chrispy in a riverbed...

Not really. Kiloaaeereaaa er, Mt. Kilauea has been active for years. It started gushing out lava around 1989 and hasn\'t stopped. The big island of Hawaii has gained something like 3 inches of land every year since. If you follow the pictures along the coast you also see the columns of steam rising where the lava pours into the sea.
I was there on vacation in 1998 and rode a helecopter over the volcano. You can see the holes in the black cooled lava and the bright red lava flows underneath.
Keep in mind of course that these satellite pictures are color-enhanced, so the red spots may show more than they would in real life.

(incidentally, I lived in California for 4 years and never experienced an earthquake then went to Hawaii for a week and had a 5.0 earthquake on the island while I was there)
