Slow and steady wins the race, right?
Got to get some new things running. The most exiciting of which, for me, is that I finally found a colour scheme that I can do over and over without getting bored or mixing paints to an extent that makes it impossible to fully replicate.
the Death Guard from Dark Imperium posed the first squad I wanted to be completely coherent and I challenged myself to find an easy, yet suitably nurgle colour scheme. I ended up with this:

The armour is a base of Warpstone glow followed by a layer of Moot Green. This is then washed using Athonian Earthshade, and finally a second layer of Moot Green is added. It's simple and I like the effect I get from such a simple recipe. The second guy is currently undergoing painting.
I also did a few swaps of arms and heads using some poxwalkers, a skaven from the Plague furnace kit and some spare Skitarii-parts and ended up with two fairly distinct characters. The first is still missing and arm/hand and will need some more doodads, but I'm really please with the general direction. I'm currently filling in some gaps on the back using liquid GS, a tool I'm still getting used to.

The second guy is the poxwalker who was now arm-less. I simply used the arms from the skaven plague monk and managed to get a more... sentient and conscious spread of nurgles boons.

I like the idea of some individuals embracing the plague and working to spread it rather than fight it. Maybe he even was an acolyte of nurgle since before?
