Updates ahoy!
Firstly I kinda, sorta finished the angelic sigmarine.

I have since delved into another project. As I've read Warhammer visions/white dwarf I've followed Blanchitsu (And everyone of Johns models. So far I think I have a single nr where he hasn't made an appearance ;) ) and the models there have always held me intrigued. At the same time I'v followed Krautscientists INQ28 warbands over at https://eternalhunt.wordpress.com/. Both these have inspired me to start my own warband of sorts as I really like the combination of fantasy and 40k elements.

With all the mish-mashing of eras, I think my most favourite part of this is how ambiguous their origin can be. And that translates into the warbands as well, even with the emperor and chaos gods the first loyalty is to them selves (or the leader of the warband at least).

Well, C&C is welcome and appreciated as always :)

Massive updates on a completely new project! Because, well... I can't stay focused :p

My goal with these guys was to make them ambiguous. Not obviously traitor, but not obvious loyalists either. I image them as having been loyalists, but suffered a defeat so great that they lost faith in the emperor and, believeing he adandoned them, they now scavenge for artifacts.

Some squad shots to start

I image this guy is carrying something really important and that he has defended it for many millenia already, always wielding the same sword.

The dataminer/information gatherer

Other dudes, not as thought through in terms of character

that's it! C&C welcome as always.

Points for being able to guess all the kits I used (except the obvious ones :p )

Looks like a grizzled bunch of vets. I love your backstories for the characters. Can't wait to see them all painted up. Hurry up!! Lol

One down, 4 to go! God, the pics really highlight every flaw of the mini o_O (please ignore that HUGE mold line on his right arm)

Went for a really, really pale skin with a base of Kislev flesh, highlighted with a mix with skull white (or whatever it's called nowadays) and then pure white. Picked it to give him a feel of not being totally well.

C&C welcome as always :)

So, another loooong gap in my activities. So, I'm gonna get you up to speed!

First up is the second guy from the Blanchitsu-esqe warband!

The photos are a tad dark, I can see now, so I will try to get new ones. But at least it shows I've done something!
Skin is a bit different, a base of rakarth flesh this time, but still highlighted using white to get a pale, sickly feel to it.

Next, we have a few khornate dudes that has been forgotten for way too long.

And the last Blight King!

And last, buf definately not least, a converted Balnchitsu-esqe character. Still VERY WIP though.

So yeah, that's about it I guess. But there's a lot more coming, though I'm not sure when as I'm gettting married within the month as well as moving to a house in the summer. And working full time all the summer as well. :p
Oh, if anyone has a Plague furnace (the burning ball-thingy) from the kit with the same name lying around and want to get rid of it, pls send me a message!

C&C welcome as always!

Got most of the bits and bobs for my next project. Def gonna be one of my biggest ones so far and absolutely one of the hardest. Lots of cutting, drilling and reposing planned. Also, I've decided to go non-heretical, which tbh is probably gonna be the hardest :p

Update! Got the basics of the torso down, but still a fair amount of fidgeting required to get the "driver" to fit snugly. Arms are in pieces as they are getting re-posed (this kit so much more stale than I thought it would be) to fit my new, kit-bashed weapon. Legs are still on sprue until I can decide on a good posture for them.

The braziers are from a third party producer and bought of E-bay for $2.80 per pack of 3 (different types) and in amazing quality for the price.
