More (minor) updates on the DP. Slowly getting there by adding GS in small layers and chains in large bouts. Mainly done work on the torso and pelvis now. Gonna finish that and then attach the leg and arm.

Personally, I like the chain-spine and am quite pleased with the overall concept of it. Need to smooth it out a bit and do some touch ups though.

C&C welcome and appreciated :)

Just a small post to keep my thread from falling too far down.
I have managed to finish most of the torso and added texture and stuff. Currently in the process of attachung the leg, however it's a bit difficult as I don't have a drill and have to rely on GS and superglue..

Oh! And I still need a head! Any tips are appreciated.

So, my first substantial update in a while I believe.
I've gotten the leg attached (roughly) and actually managed to fit him to his base. This mostly due to the fact that the leg would really stick in proper way using another method.
I also started making the attachment for the arm, though there's still LOTS of work to do there. And there's still the issue with the head.

All in all, I like how the pose is looking and I think the base will work as well, just needs a properly khornate amount of skulls.

C&C welcome and appreciated!

Wooop! Long break. Got a job in my field, which is fucking great as a biologist in sweden, so time for figures has been scarce.
However, I managed to get a hold of a head for my DP and I actually finished building him. And priming.

Throwing in a Blightking for size comparision as well.

The claws were a late stage addition as I found his left hand to be a bit... boring. I found the claws, which are scythes from the old metal goblin chariot, in a bits box and used some GS to "integrate" them.

Also started painting my Manticore, and prepping its base, after ages. I've decided to go for the same technique I used for the Flesh Hound. So I'm currently just laying the bright base before moving on to the washes.

That's about it for now I believe. C&C is as allways most welcome :)

Some more random randomness.

I completely reworked a guy from just a few months back. From a chaos standard-wielder to a Nurgle lord.

And a top view with his right arm blue tac:ed.

Really unbelievable skills . The conversion are in a class by themselves.

So, I'm done with work for this season and got myself a little time to paint.

Firstly I finished my 3rd Blightking. I painted him using roughly the same style as the last 2 with a few alterations in skin colour as well as one late stage drybrush with GW White Scar before a final layer of washes (Athonian camoshade and Agrax Earthshade)

And a group shot with his buddies. All painted slightly diffrent, but still made to look like a coherent unit.

And, I got started with my, now rather huge, backlog of models by slapping some paint on this fella

And also slapped some paint on this guy in an effort to force myself to paint something that's not evil as shit and to paint something brighter.

That's all for now.
C&C most welcome!

Excellent conversions, my man. The one from late August is really special! Also, the size of the daemon prince's axe has 'size compensation' written all over it.

Thanks a bunch! The nurgle guy will be back shortly as I'm still continuously working on him :)

Hahaha! Indeed, maybe everthing didn't grow with daemonhood? :O

BAM: Thanks a bunch for the encouragement. Much needed and appreciated :)

Baudot: Well, yeah. I kinda tend to get sidetracket and sliiiighlty bored with single projects. So there's a lot of hopping. Also I very much prefer sculpting to painting :p

Aaaaand updates! I'm working my through my backlog and actually managed to finish another mini. Now he just needs a base.

He will be getting some more love. Like a shade on his weapon and some touchups to cover the GS visible on his face. And a base ofcourse.

Also pushing forward with the manticore. Considering the head finished with the exception of the odd touchup or detail. The body needs some love around the paws/feeet/claws-areas, but other than that I'm starting to see the light on this guy. Particularly happy with how the veins on the wings turned out.

All for now! C&C is welcome as always :)
