Best Painter in the WORLD - TWO week competition - ending the 26th!

great idea Quentin. my favorite type of contest- fun, friendly, and with an amusing name/theme. :)

I was all set to enter, but then my weekend got taken up with other things, so I won\'t have time to do it.

I shall watch with interest though, to see what comes of it. :)

A great idea, and super smashin\' great of you to sort out prizes off your own back too!!!

As its 5 days in and Iv\'e only just read this I think Iv\'e left it a wee bit late to knock up an entry (although I did start the White dwarf on monday but no pics!!)

Wil watch with interest and good luck to all!

well, I\'m obviously too late because I only noticed this thread now :) I started working on a miniature today but I\'ll never get it finished in time ... too bad :/

Since this isn\'t \"Golden Demon\" would anyone be opposed to making this contest end on Friday the 26th (next week)? It seems like there might be some more of you who would like to participate... Would this make it possible? Please let me know. I\'m willing to push back the entry date in order to have more people involved.

Yes please! My entry is about 25% done, but I had resigned myself to entering it into Total testosterone instead. I\'d prefer to enter this one (I won\'t win, but still the chance to officially become \"BEST PAINTER EVER!\" is too good).

1 week extra would be great for me, and most others too, considering what has been said already.

Finished all the white and red on my mini, now for the skin and ...dun dun DUN! NMM! :D I\'ll try and see if I can get NMM going...

Base is done too, it\'s seperate.

All I have to say is that it is absolutely gorgeous... :eek:
Made entirely of solid gold (plastic) it fills an entire room with its magnificence!

Wow, that would go great next to my \"Most Honest Golfer\" award, or my T-ball participation trophy from grade 3 lol

Not that I have a chance of winning it :rolleyes:

Oh, THAT\'s the position I should adopt when painting, I got it all wrong. Nice clothes too, didn\'t know geeks where so classy these days.

Did you actually sacrifice one of your former trophies?

The trophy looks cool and has given me an idea if people are up for it!

Hows abouts we resurface this competition every 6/12 months, and the previous winner has to paint and add something to the trophy!
