some seriously big boxed sets coming out....seems to me a bit gimicky..I mean the current rules are fine for big Games just feels like a desperate attempt to get people to buy more....
There\'s gonna have to be some serious saving to make it worthwhile going for ...
That said there is some cool looking stuff coming out and some good new/old/revamped weapons coming out...

New vehicles were supposed to include a Stomper Gargant as well as drop pods.
I did here they were going to hold off on the drop pods for the initial release but haven\'t heard a thing about the stomper since???
A lot of the releases were going to depend on how well the first release of stuff shifted from the shelves.

I think that khorne scorpion may be a bit of both a kit and a conversion of that kit. That\'s going by the picture underneath it with the rules.

So theres bugger all new bits on that land raider, I can make one thats pretty much bang on that right now.
Well, gives me an excuse to make one more land raider variant I guess :twisted:

so is this a kit or a conversion?? it\'s in the GW sneak peeks which generally says Kit but seems converted if it\'s a kit put me down for 1.

That url takes you to the whole sneak peaks thing. I\'m going to guess you\'re talking about the chaos baneblade? If it\'s in the sneak peaks it most likely will be a kit.

Now Ive seen the pics of the chapter council, I dont think they are so bad, and Im beginning to like them.

@RB yeah I thought that myself ...strange looking thing ......guess they have to bring something out to counter the slew of Baneblades that will appear. Guess that\'s the reasoning behind the Landraider .....great can opener with all those Lascannons.

Yeah, I wonder if it has any troop capability or not, I wouldnt think so.
Just looks a little silly to me, its not really the assault vehicles that the marines tend to favour, its more of a tank battle kind of thing.

from what i have heard is the plaguebearer is a conversion that GW will show you how to make and the terminus has no troop capacity at all.
i heard the brass scorpion is a kit but its 2 defiler spures and directions on how to assemble. nothing more than rumours, but thats what i heard.:beer::beer:

Sounds like you need to get some bigger tables then. Our club just puts desks together and uses coloured cloth on top. The problem would be the time. The club\'s lasts for 3 hrs. A typical 1500 pt game would last a little under 2 hours, so it could be a struggle to go over the 3000 pt mark.. I think any such game would have to wait until one of the all day sunday games days the club does.

Actually, a friend of mine working for GW tried that out (preview copies are your friend), and they did a 12000 pts battle. By round 4, EVERYthing was gone! Sounds like some badass mass destruction going on there.
