I went for the most realistic effects I could manage on this guy about a year ago. I've been admiring people's NMM work, but I think in this case it just wouldn't look realistic enough.
7.5-- Well, everything looks pretty nice, and the base is well-done too. I'd like to see a picture that's a little bit closer though. Besides that, good work
Congrats on your first mini posted! - I really like the skin tones on this guy, the whole look is very effective. The Orc models can be very hard to make look good. You're right about NMM not working for a model like this. I find it annoying if a model is marked down because someone has used 'real metallics'. Well done!
