[JMD] Zenobe Bust

And here it is! The first miniature I finished in over two years! I completed this wonderful bust from JMD called "Zenobe" for the Herzog von Bayern (Duke of Bavaria) and it won me Silver in the Fantasy Painting category. Most of the credit goes to JMD for providing such a wonderful bust - it was an absolute pleasure to paint this guy. I tried to stay as close to the 'official' colorscheme as possible. It took me about 15 hours to finish this bust. The colors I used were: Skin: - Base: Tanned Flesh (GW) - Highlights: Bronzed Flesh (GW) - Elf Flesh (GW) - Ivory (Vallejo MC) - Shadow: Tanned Flesh + increasing amounts of Dark Sea Blue (VMC) - Glazes: Lich Purple, Scab Red, Goblin Green - Sweat, Eyes and Lips: 'Ardcoat Gloss (GW) Headband: - Base: Chaos Black + Dark Sea Blue - Highlights: Scorched Brown - Shadow: Chaos Black Shirt: - B: Snakebite Leather (GW) - H: Snakebite Leather (GW) + Ivory (VMC) - S: Snakebite Leather (GW) + Dark Sea Blue (VMC) Trousers: - B: Regal Blue (GW) - H: Regal Blue (GW) + Ivory (VMC) - S: Regal Blue (GW) + Dark Sea Blue (VMC) + Chaos Black (GW) - Glazes: Scab Red Pen: Dark Angels Green, Camo Green, Goblin Green + 'Ardcoat Gloss Varnish ==== It has been a tremendous pleasure painting this bust - and I feel more JMD stuff is to follow ;) But most of all, I am proud to finally have finished a miniature!
