Wishes for Zombicide season 4

The idea of the meat ball zombies are similar to the radioactive zombies of splitting, but the meat ball also glue together.

Here are some ideas for new kinds os zombies with simple mechanics:

- Copycat zombie: mimic the same abilities of all zombies on the same zone. Example: if he is in the same zone as a toxic one, than he is considered toxic that turn. Every time that a zombie in the same zone of a copycat zombie gets an extra activation, he also gets it.

- Another "grabber" zombie, or follower zombie: every time that someone leaves an area with this kind of zombie (using extra actions, slippery or using some other ability), he follows the survivor to that new zone.

About the scenarios, I would like to see scenarios that deals with water. Rivers, bridges, small boats, big ships, small islands… I think that can bring a lot of new mechanics into the game. Based on that, the new season can have only one kind of basic zombie (such as the skinner in season 3), which is the swimmer, that can simply go through water places. In this scenario, they can introduce a new kind of animal zombie: the shark zombie! Another thing interesting about having water is that it can have different effects on other zombies: regular zombies will not go through it, toxic can drown and make the water poisonous, berserkers can sink and go through but can't attack while on water, etc...

Another scenario that can be interesting is a zoo, because they will be able to explore more the animal zombies… Imagine an abomination lion zombie! Or a fatty gorilla zombie? Just an idea that should be further explored...

Seing the other ideas, we can see that there are material for at least 3 more seasons!

How about a wrecked military base. Zombie soldiers and a few survivors. Bring out the big guns!!!

A military environment would be great too! Specially with the competitive rules from Season 3.

It will be great to have a survivor driving a tank!

About the soldier zombies, an idea will be to introduce the concept of zombie troops. Some ideas can be for the zombies to get some additional strength by being together in the same zone or by the presence of a commander zombie.

Season 4? Gotta go with tradition. The fourth sequel always goes to space...

further, how about cards similar to the sewer cards that affect how zombies behave? Like, for example, transformers on tiles that when the transformer cards are drawn, zombies in the appropriate zones get an immediate activation. No new models required, gives the game more depth and tension, and still has an impact for new players to learn with experienced ones

I too would love to see a military expansion. Perhaps the National Guard could be defending the nuclear power plant...Plant technicians could make good mission objectives and act as companions?

They could introduce:
claymores
mortars
air strikes
drones
barbwire (as another form of barricade)
Hummers
Abrams tank
m-60 or .50 calibre (if they haven't already in the expansions I am yet to buy...)

As for new zombies, how about:
zombies that explode when they are killed
two-headed runners who move two and can attack twice
soldier walkers that are still wearing their bulletproof vest making it harder to kill them.

I would also like to see more 3D buildings.

Last but not least, how about a multi-level building expansion that is somehow able to be stacked.

I think that zombie animals will continue to come: we already have dogs and now crows... Rats seams to be a reasonable next step...

When you said park or forest, I think that a Zoo might be a nice scenario... Them we can have different kinds of zombie animals... Imagine a Lion Zombie Abomination! I think it can be interesting as a small expansion such as Toxic City Mall, but not as another complete season...

For the number 3) I think that is not going to happen... Because they said that it is going to be exclusive by that time, and a lot of people would be upset if they break their promise. However, in this season 3 they are sending the all promo dashboards (but without the minis). You can play with them by using the mini of another character... No problem for me...

A zoo would be pretty nifty
gorillas = fatties
large cats=runners
Monkeys=walkers
elephant =abomination

But since they are different animals, I think each one can have a special effect. For instance, maybe the large cat runner can have a "jump attack" that can move and attack in a single action, or since their bite is more powerful, they do 2 damage...

Seeing the helicopter that creates another dimension in the board, I think it will be cool if the season 4 brought some additional floors mechanics. So you will have some supports that creates another level (like a second or third floor) on the board. This way you can have a building where the survivors can go to the second floor, which is an elevated tile on the board...

Do you think that this could work?

Monkeys steal equipment
gorillas throw characters back a space
Large cats cause bleed damage that injures you for one turn
Elephant damages everyone in target location

Monkeys steal equipment

Something like, if you leave a zone with monkeys by spending additional actions or by using the slipery skill, you lose an equipment.

gorillas throw characters back a space

Don't know about this because it can be actually good and give a chance for the survivor to run... Maybe they can throw something on you... Or do 2 damage points.

Large cats cause bleed damage that injures you for one turn

Since with two damages you die, I do not like this one too... I also think that having effects in further turns can make things complicated. I think moving and attacking in a single action can be nice.

Elephant damages everyone in target location

This one I think is a nice idea... He can give one damage for each survivor in the zone, and let them distribute it. It will be also cool if he can be killed with 4 damage. Basically it will be the molotov, but some other combinations could also work...

Gorillas can throw monkeys?
I agree with the cats I think maybe like dogs but move 3 or something with movement

What I said is for the gorillas to have something like a ranged attack.

But a zombie that pushes other zombies for the next zone can be a nice idea (like the shove skill).

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums and the game, but I really enjoy playing it.

There are some rules I don't really like, but since it's part of the game I have to accept it.

But to stay on topic I'll leave my ideas here (some were already discussed):

Instead of a full new Season I'd rather see some Expansions

- The settings I would like to see would be:
- Military (either a base or some part of the city OR some biohazard containment)
- College (mostly because of the building and some sports)
- Hotel (again because of the building and a possibility of adding "levels" to the missions)

- The settings I would rather miss out
- Zoo or something similar to it
- any kind of a post apocalyptic setting

Reasons:

Let's start with the negative
- Zoo, well enyone ever played Resident Evil Outbreak File #2? The game added zombie animals...those were pretty annoying and some of those were nearly impossible to kill (zombie Elephants). I just don't see a good "logical" balancing between zombie animals and human zombies
- post apocalypting settings like Fallout, Boarderlands or Mad Max...well I simply don't want to see the game "age" that fast. I like the feeling of being pretty much at the "start" of the zombie apocalypse instead of "50 years after"
Again - this is my personal opinion and some may not agree with that :) (logically)

Now to the things I'd like to see

Military setting:

- Some new map additions would be fun like military turrets. A player could take a position at a gun turret and he/she could fire it in one direction to provide cover for teammates
- Tanks! Maybe a tank can fire ONCE (last shot) and can't move, BUT is something like a small bunker. Zombies can't get in, but you can't drive away (The Walking Dead Episode 1)
- Soldier zombies, who have a chance to explode upon a kill (like if you shoot one who has grenades on his chest)
- If the setting goes more Biohazard, then a new Abomination could be added. A stronger mutated version, who deals 2 Damage and can easily break in doors. His passive would be "Aggressive" (when he moves, he hits aside every infected who is in his path, moving any infected in his way one cell in a random direction) it's like a reverse A-Bomb
- ofc new weapons and more attachments (finally a rocket launcher?)
- new helper figures (soldiers, or medics, etc)
- new missions like
- rescue a medic in a zone and get to the exit
- get weapons and supplies while the soldiers give you backup. after a certain event the soldiers get overrun and you have to find a new way out and so on
(yes I do like the military setting a lot XD)

College setting:
- Sounds really...random?weird?boring? maybe, but this could turn out pretty cool
- Colleges or Universities tend to have a lot of smart and/or athletic people
- This adds up a chance for new followers/helpers/survivors like some sportsman, or medics
- It works also the other way around > adding new type of zombies like a Football Player Zombie who (f.e.) has 2 health/armor and can tackle some players in certain conditions
- A new Abomination who is more of an athlete and can move 2 cells/has 2 actions
- again new missions, like finding a prof. who could create a vaccine and escort him to the exit
(I'll just leave this here, maybe some one can come up with more ideas)

Hotel setting:
- basically the main idea was about adding floors/levels to the game. like walking up the stairs to next floor
- some of the hotel parts could be damaged or being in flames, so when too many actors are on a certain cell/field the ground could collapse and the actors would fall down to a floor below
- this could add new ways to complete a mission
- this would lead to new helpers/survivors who can build up floors or ladders to move on in different ways. some could set up fires or end those (like firefighters)
- a hotel is a good place for VIP zombies
(someone any ideas?)

Well basically these are some ideas I had while playing this game. Again - I'd rather see those as an Expansion, rather than a normal Season.
Hope you like my ideas :3

I saw a presentation on YouTube of the Zombicide creators saying that after Season 3 they should wait some more time until they release a new season, but they said that they have plans to release some small expansions in this period. Let's wait! Sounds promising!

I like the progressive style of Switch City and would like to see a way to keep going instead of most missions being one-shot. I would love development so that this could also be used as the basics of an RPG so you get more character development (at least to a certain level... as it is, it will always be a board-game). This doesn't need full blown RPG rules, there are plenty out there. I'm meaning more scenarios that are able to use connection points to tell a story that could be used for a long weekend or during vacations.

At first I liked the zoo idea, but I agree that it would be easy for the zoo to overwhelm what we have here. The largest factor being the 2 wound levels to die... with not enough mitigation or salvation to overcome that. You could house-rule around that, but for baseline rules this will be hard without some kind of revamp of the entire system.

A hotel or resort location would be pretty cool. I would also like to see a sewer / subway set of tiles. Just give me more variety in miniatures so when I am painting zombies I don't have to figure out soo many ways to make them NOT look the same. I'll take it as an expansion, no need for a new set of rules really, though I would like a full set of tiles (not just a few like in the Toxic City expansion).

And, we NEED Zombicide cases! Make some for the cards so that you have a zombie stack, an equipment stack and a discard for each (basically 4 slots) in a cardholder. Zombicide branded figurine cases, with lots of storage. Board tile storage boxes. And if possible, a master storage chest that allows me to put several figure cases, the card cases, a loose item box and a tile storage box that holds up to 30 tiles (more would probably be better, but I could live with that).
