WIP: Moriar the Chosen, Blood Angels DC Dread (Re Post)

Looking good man, flavourful angels, nice dark colours without being too bland. The banner's looking good although the skull looks a teeny tiny bit fuzzy. I'd recommend painting the banner on double size, scan it, scale it down, print it out on the needed size. Always looks much, much crisper.

And I share yer pain on the timeframe, I haven't finished a mini in two years!

Thanks Meph, kind words indeed, just a tiny bit more to go and i can get some proper pics of him up! I still haven;t got round to the lightbox thing you showed me yet but once he is finally finished I will give it a go and throw him up on the site for rating

I agree with you on the skull looking 'fuzzy' and that an image would be sharper, but really this is my 1st free hand on any kind of scale and I'm honestly really happy with how it is coming out so far I wanted to give it a proper go on this since I am really trying new things with this model and I figured I should try it with just a brush and my imagination. Really from a distance it looks pretty good to my eye (the pics are about 5 times bigger than the model and shows mistakes much batter haha) maybe at some point I'll outline it with really thin black layers but for now I'm quite happy with how it has come out

I really planned on painting some of this guy today but really I'm very tired. Late nights gigging...Collateral damage. Once I have woken up I will do some a bit later but I thought I'd take advantage of the sun being out and get a new photo thats a bit more true to life:
