OK, so I had to reply to this one!
I am Mom to two Girl Scouts! They Do NOT look like that lol
We do cookie orders every Feb. and I get cookies in hand in March, PM me next year and I will gladly get cookies for all!!!
Now I don\'t have any Thin Mints... But I do have 4 boxes of Somoias (AKA Carmel Delights) Ebonbuddha, PM me I will send you a box!
Ms. Pony I promise that my girls will never show up on your door step! Funny thing for us, we have a route we do every year, our neighborhood only, and we know what houses not to go to and we have our regulars who actually call me to arrange a time for the girls to come by and sell

A friend of mine had a satanic bible to use as defence against the religous door knockers. He would pull it out and tell them he would read theirs if they read his! He only had to to twice and never got visited again!lol

My dad would sometimes answer the door to the religious pushers wearing nothing but a skirt. (dad was about 180 lbs, 5\'10\", big mustache and hair half-way down his back)
He was far more educated on religion than most and would try to engage them in conversation but they would usually find some reason to be moving on.

I love door-to-door folks too. The Kirby guys are great. I listen wide eyed and can usually get them to vacuum three rooms of my house and the mattresses before they realize I\'m not buying. 2 years ago I had an hour discussion with the Jehovah\'s Witnesses. They haven\'t been back which depresses me. They and the Mormons are my favorite hobby. I have spent considerable time reading all of the Book of Mormon, the Jehovah\'s Witnesses\' \"bible\", the Koran, rig Veda, etc. I keep marked up copies in the house so we can chat at a moments notice. Great fun.
