What do you use to hold your minis?

What do you do for models that don't have a peg or something on the model's fot? Just vice it by the foot?

Do like a lot of other painters, pin through the foot.

Pinned models I hold on a pin vice.
Others I blue tack and hold on two glued-together GW paint pots or a bottle cap, when painting army-type stuff.

I have hierarchy wen it comes to miniature painting holdy devices.

In at number 1 - my hand. Hold the model by its base in your hand. Choosing to only touch the rim of the base.
In joint 2nd place - pin vice gripped to a pin in the model or component. And a cork with the model pinned, blu tacced or magnetted in place
