Toronto GD Roll Call

Well, it\'s 15 days and counting to Gamesday Toronto and the question of the day..... who\'s goin\'?

I\'ll be there, I\'m scheduled to be at the Painter Lounge and do a seminar on making brick and stone block walls out of plaster for dioramas and scenary.

For thoses who are interested, I\'m dusting off the 18 inch Khorne Berzerker and bringing it to have on display.

Stop by and say hi, so I can put faces to names.....Can\'t miss me...I\'m the old guy with the white hair.

I believe I\'m judging Golden Demon in the afternoon but I don\'t know what they have planned for me in the morning.

I\'ll be bringing as many of my own figures as I can fit in my case along with all the Studio figures I\'m bringing over.

Not entering or in the Lounge... just Golden Demon Photography. I\'ll be the reddish-blond guy with glasses buzzing around the Golden Demon area and face plastered to the back of the camera while they do the judging.

but will get to meet some more of the GW crew..yay!
I hope Mr F can bring his cool models with him...

yeah I\'m sure we will be fine, I did the lounge in baltimore and it was kinda chill, people got up and walked around when they wanted and just enjoyed themselves. its no fun if we have to be glued to our seats at the lounge the WHOLE time.

It IS hard work, but a lot of fun, too! And I get to see mostly the backs of some of the most BRILLIANTLY painted models in the world!

While I photograph them, I don\'t really have time to pay attention to the detail of their paintjobs. I just try to get a good photo of the subject in front of the camera.

Wish I could be there. Friend\'s got a wedding that day though I\'ll be entering a mini or two in Regional Qualifiers this weekend, and I\'m quite confident they\'ll win and get brought down for me.

I\'m painting Dwarf Queen Helgar at the moment, Darren Latham style if I can manage it

You might want to check the \"Guidelines for entry\" as the first line of it states:

\"All entries must be personally handed in by their creator and registered at Games Day on the day. We will not accept any entries on behalf of competitors who are not in attendance at the event\"

Erhm.. it\'s in the rules. Canada\'s a huge country, so there are regional contests and the winner\'s models get sent to the Games Day in Toronto.
