Ok, I critcized who for working hard? Read my post before you start taking shots at me. You misread just about everything.

As for getting my jollies from my voted on count, no I really dont care about that. I havent finished voting on them all yet and I SAID I DO TAKE THE TIME TO VOTE ACCORDINGLY NOW...so all your telling me how evil and dumb I am is a bit late! I want to see the mini\'s, all the mini\'s posted, isnt that why we look through them? To see them? Good idea though, lets put up a site so we can not want to see its content, are you actually trying to say I\'m wrong or skewed in some way for wanting to see CMON content? Anyway, a large portion of the pics arent worth the time though. Do you sit there and study the dark and distorted pics of mini\'s that look like they were painted with a paintball gun? Do you take the time to leave constructive comments on said pics titled \"another mini\" with no description? I\'d help someone if I could but most of the time it\'s not wanted and more often I\'m far less capable of helping them than the thousands of other voters...so...I move on. As for the ones that have half an effort put into them I do take my time with. I\'ve got a huge number of saved pics of all kinds of conversions, poses, paint schemes and things that just sparked something so I can go back to them when I want to.

Geez, you\'d think I cut off everyones Epeen. Yes, epeen=ego or electronic penis. Big dick measuring contest. Not suprising I thought of the voting as such seeing how people get all bent outta shape when I mention I might have given their mini a vote of 1. Heaven forbid...:eek:

Well, I\'d prefer you to use the \"skip this picture\" button if you just want to see all the pics, rather than, as you said pretty much, vote 1 5 10 whatever depending on how you feel, just to get the next one up.

Maybe you hadn\'t seen that button? ;)

Edit: Whoops - just realised that you\'ll get repeats of minis doing it that way

If one of my minis accelerated like that Id be pissed. I feel it would give less validity in my score . My Chimera for example has been up for three months got about 100 votes, with 1400 views. I feel Great about this because I know its a solid 9.1. (of course now that i point that out ill probly get sniped :rolleyes: ) The real test, for me anyways, is to see where a mini is in a year not a week. I think innitial hype dies down and natural selection starts to take its course.

But like others have said why worry about overrated mins (envy, jelousy,...???)? We should disscuss underrated minis, like this one thats been on my favorites list for somtime. Its way better than 2.5 IMO. Dont stress the little things, just enjoy your own hobby.

I think we should comment negatively on the miniatures that are half-a$$ed submitted. By half-a$$ed I mean no name, blurry pictures, no information on what you have done to it. There really isn\'t an excuse for doing it. You can’t remember the name? There are sites like the Stuff of Legends, or the manufacturer of the miniature that can help with naming and identifying it. Can’t take good pictures? There are several articles on how to take good pictures. There is a really good article on how to take photographs on CMON. At least there use to be one here. Explain your work. If you put time into something you create, why not tell us about it. I wish I had a US dollar every time I suggested someone explaining their work and I get a pm telling what they did. But the explanation never goes on the actual submission. It’s crazy. :rolleyes:

Thanks Ebonbuddha for the site information. I have no idea about the manufacturer of the last mini I did (haven\'t posted the pic yet). It\'s one of Grumb\'s that he bought ages ago and was running around loose in a box. I\'m going to see if I can find any info on it - if Grumb doesn\'t know it already :D
