Rules......where are they?

I'm thinking of a campaign of scenarios where you only get to use each hero once. If they die they can't be used in the next scenario. Of course that works better for those of us who insisted on getting every promo character...

It would probably also require some knowledge of the rules (in greater depth than they're already known) to use effectively.

In fact this is the number 2 reason I want to get the rules sooner rather than later - so that I can start to think seriously about possible scenarios.

You don't need the rules to start using the program and seeing how it works and the different possibilities you have with it.
You need the rules to know how many zombies you can put on a given scenario or how many heroes you can use with it.
I don't know if you have to define those numbers in the designer or if they can be changed as many times as needed.
That's why I would like to have the designer now. So I can work properly with it once the rules are known.

I'd just rather get a horse, or two, before I get the cart.

You can have a couple of mine. We have 8 right now and are trying to find homes for a couple of them.

Hi Guys. I noticed some of you purchased multiple sets of Zombicide. If I buy 2 sets of the Sedition Wars game, will some one trade me???? Let me know! I would like to have one set of each game, with those nice bonuses!!!!!!

Aaaaaannnd...still nothing on the GG site.

Come back soon and download Zombicide rules booklet, new scenarios, items, survivor ID cards and much much more for free!
(ok guys, now we definitely MUST do that quickly or they'll just come and get our braaaiinz...)

The KS page sez

Funding Successful --This project successfully raised its funding goal on May 6.

I would certainly hope the rules are done by now, although it's possible they're still tweaking things slightly. Knowing what ambidextrous is now makes me wonder why they also have swordmaster, for example.

But I'd still prefer the rules sooner rather than later. I know I'm twitching to try and build some scenarios...

As the game is supposed to "be on the water" in early July, I'd have thought that would mean there are sealed boxes with rules shipping. Perhaps only the parts are shipping and everything is packed in the US.

True, but they would also have to have the rules printed, which is often cheaper to do overseas as well (at least from what I understand hearing from various webcomic people talking about getting books printed)

But it would not surprise me if they had to get things created through multiple companies, and did the final packaging themselves. Maybe that's too much, though? Dunno. Regardless, yes, the rules should be finalized now if not very soon. The delay is... annoying, but I have this odd feeling that GG has a lot on their plate right now, especially with the inevitable delays/errors in the manufacturing processes...

Hi,

I am looking forward to the rules. But I have a feeling that all the staff is pushing real hard on getting the game to us in the next few weeks. So I would be more than happy to get the game sooner than the rules on PDF, and the game later.
i trust, they have done great so far. And they have been doing more than I would have expected by now.

What I find slightly disconcerting about this is that the rules will already be in an electronic form, which would probably be very easy to port to PDF (if it's not already in PDF), and wouldn't take long to upload to the website.

@Droganis:
After watching the French demonstration video of Zombiecide posted on Guillotine Games' facebook, one of the people stated that Ambidexterous lets you shoot in two different directions while dual-wielding. Swordmaster might let you do something special too.
