I\'m no expert with cameras when it comes to miniature shooting because I kinda suck at it, but I do have experience with Kodak, Sony and Canon! Kodak hasn\'t been my most favorite experience but you do get a good deal for the price. I had the m1033 10 mp camera seen
Here . It has a fast startup but its slow at processing images and it seems like every shot was a hit or miss but it was relatively reliable. Here are 2 pictures I took with it, the first one is the untouched version, and the second one was using the cameras onboard photo fixer.

Photo Fix
The camera was alright but it didn\'t have all the features I wanted. After awhile though my camera got stolen so I had to go search for a new one, and I got the Sony DSC-W150
Here
This one is pretty damn good lol. The start up is fast but sometimes on custom settings the processing can be lengthy. The picture taking became pretty controlled and the majority of shots turned out how I wanted, it still lacks some settings but I won\'t get everything I want in a point and shoot. It has good onboard editing options and you can do some cool effects and resizing and trimming within limits. I really like this one. Here are 2 untouched pictures I took with it. I just noticed the file sizes with this camera are larger than with the Kodak.

The last camera I\'ve had experience with was my friend\'s Canon. It was a Canon PowerShot SD1000. You could get quality shots with no knowledge through automatic settings and it had really good custom settings, it had a medium/fast speed all throughout through startup and processing. I\'ll link you to the newer model of the camera though
Canon Powershot SD1100IS. Soo about this camera it has a lot of color settings thats why I liked using it, color contrasts and replacement was a cool feature. Clicking and shooting anything was quick and easy. I don\'t have any of my originals that I took with that camera but here is a picture I photoshopped, it has quite a load of detail for it being an old model that was a 7.1 megapixel and the newer model I linked you is 8.0 megapixels.

I\'m sorry I don\'t have any experience with the Kodak model you linked me but maybe I thought this would help. So here\'s an overview.
Kodak M1033 $200 - 10 megapixel, fast start up, slower processing, hit and miss picture taking, it seemed almost random and the flash felt too powerful in most situations and didn\'t work so well indoors because of this, but has quite a bit of automatic settings to choose from with panoramic, etc..
Sony DSC-W150 $229.99 - 8.1 megapixels, fast start up and custom settings can cause processing to be lengthy, felt more controlled when you get familiar with the settings, different modes allow you to change the flash settings, with the right settings indoor shots have a good quality you just need to mess around a bit to understand it.
Canon SD1100-IS $200 - 8.1 megapixels with a fast startup and pretty good processing times. The custom settings are easy to use with a little bit of color gimmicks that are fun to play around with. All types of shots are pretty easy to do but the automatic settings for it are pretty general.
Sorry for this lengthy post lol, but your best bet is to go down to Bestbuy or Sears and use the display cameras to make your decision, each camera feels different.
I really like my Sony over my Kodak.
I\'d rank it Sony as first, Canon, then Kodak.
But Canon makes very good cameras you get most bang for your buck imo, Sony is good but a bit more costly and you need to get the SD Pro Duo card for it which cost more than an SD card Kodak and Canon\'s use. Which I could do a whole new review on for memory cards! But I won\'t lol, but I will warn you that I don\'t think its worth it buying an SD High Capacity card for your camera because of the class speeds during file transfer it can be sluggish and you need a special memory card reader if yours is outdated. I highly suggest you go into Best buy or Circuit City to try out the cameras I listed, maybe even bring in a miniature and try to take a pic under their horrible lighting. Lol, good luck!
