They have been for awhile, though certainly not in a mainstream way. I bought \"Enter\" when it first came out, and that was 7 years ago I think. They take too long between albums though!

as a follow-up, having a 16 month old son does wonders for the soundtrack in your head - the one that plays non-stop, and over the songs on the stereo?

I find myself humming uncontrollably to the Wiggles, whether it\'s a the painting table or at work in a meeting....

The more I hear of Games Days, the less I feel the urge to go actually see one for myself. Crowds, kids (crowds of kids, OMG !), smell, noise, queues, and no one to take responsibility if a GW employee or one of those 2 million kids knocks your mini over - yeah, the one you spent 80+ hours on. I\'m not a gamer, so all I\'d be going for is GD (and the CMON drink at the nearest pub !), and I can see the minis just fine at home 2 days later, with a hot mug full of tea.

All in all, it seems a pretty big investment just to have a drink. :D But worry not, I should still be in France for our next GD.

Dashboard will always have a very special place in my heart! I know Chris Caraba the lead from his first tour of the uk, he did like 3 shows in these little rundown shacks and I was there for all of them, this was before he was famous here and in america, next time he came over he was huge in america and he still remembered me so we went backstage with him, he was supported by finch just before they became big so that was nice!:)

Yeah I\'ve met him a couple of times, he\'s a real nice guy, he bought me a drink, you can\'t ask for more than that! He made a joke about me supporting him when I get a band together....... I WILL take him up on that joke or no!:)

i must say i am very glad im not the only one who knows dashboard, last time i mentioned it i got like alot of people asking who they are, which isnt a bad thing, cause i get to spread around alittle dashboard, but its nice to be able to say Carraba and someone know who im talking about :cool:

all the big corporate music magazines LOVE Dashboard Confessional, but the big corporate radio stations don\'t. If you aren\'t Linkin Park, you never get played (at least here in the WashDC Metro area)

DC is huge to the minority of the emo population, you either get the pop people who think DC is lame, or the punk people, who think DC are posers.

i just tend to think there good. but dont get me wrong, lots of people i know love them, and then lots of people dont
