Depends on the mood I am in, I am generally into heavy metal (they call it classic rock now) anything like

If the mood takes me then I like all sorts of rock music, I like melodic stuff such like

Marrillion
Magnum
Pink Floyd ( I love the Wall both the studio and the full live set, also Pulse)

but whateve I listen too I have to be in the right mood for it, I can usually be found staring blankly at my music collection trying to find something I want to play then walking away because I can\'t find anything that suits my mood.

i do that all the time too!

youve got all this music, and you just feel like listening to that one song you heard on the radio, you know the one you Dont have. then you get all depressed and walk away cause you dont feeli like listening to anything else...

I\'m forced to play cds on my computer, since I have no real stereo in my paint room, so mostly my pooter runs through it\'s mp3 file, which is generally a better mix of genres and artists than what\'s on any of the radio stations in the Washigton DC area. Stuff that\'s all over the place that\'s been downloaded/copied to over the years.

But CDs usually float in and out of rotation from the car to the stereo to the computer.

Stuff that always seems to get into the rotation:
AC/DC (Bon Scott albums only)
Black Sabbath (the old Ozzy stuff)

Marvelous 3 (or Butch Walker\'s solo stuff)

Regardless of what it is, it\'s gotta get you into a groove or zone that let\'s the creative juices flow, but not to let the mind wander away from painting....
