I think Voltan was a Mayan earth god.
I know it was a worm on the internet a couple of years ago.
I disagree with danger mouse there. Every one of those giants has multiple similarities to the ones in question. Nearly every one has legs in the same pose, wrapped in straps/bandages for example.

I\'d agree with Marquis...
None of the examples really resemble Gibbon\'s. The one in contention has far too many similarities for a coincidence. The concept and dynamics are glaringly obvious... And, yeah... GW would definitely screw you over for much less

I do amidt that the face has some simalar features but I own one of the original FW giants which came out about 4-5 years ago and is also the first pic vincegamer
has in his list above and if you look the only changes betwen the old one and the new is the head the wep and they gave him sleves. So I would have to say I think the only thing the green did was give FW the idea to make him yelling instead of the simpletin look the old one has.

This is cute and all. But I can see there is a lot of similarity in this guys work and Forgeworld. I don\'t see any similarity in the seven links you posted. Well except the one that are the same base design.

The body on the new giant is the exact same as the body of the old FW giant (which came out well before GIBBONs\'). The arms are only slightly changed, with a new weapon (which is certainly not from GIBBONs\').
Obviously the only part in question is the new head. The main similarity is that the mouths on both are open (sculpting figures with their mouths open is not original to GIBBON last time I checked). The bone structure of the heads appears completely different though. GIBBONs\' looks like a mutated human, where the FW giant looks like some sort of sub-human, almost ape-like, but not mutated at all. They don\'t really look similar at all.
There are alot of things about GW that piss me off, but this isn\'t one of them. If they stole an idea, I don\'t think it was GIBBONs\' in this case.

The pose may be a little generic, but I don\'t think it\'s possible to say that the two are completely unrelated, especially in light of the photos Gibbon sent.
