Cheers guys! She did turn out better than expected, and it’s nice to not have that model looming over me any more.
Got a couple of Ul-Ghul painted in 2 hours as a bit of airbrush practice.

Two weeks off work has done wonders! Sadly I’m back to work now so progress will be slower.

Continuing work on Belly. Think I’m going to go back in with some stippling to add some texture.

Extreme contrast here is a large amount of eyes MSU. Well blended and saturated all add to a second and even more aesthetic BC. Go got em foxy!!! Well done!!!

It’s a really simple model, so lends itself to airbrushing well. Just started black and sprayed progressively lighter blue from higher and higher, and focused a little on the shoulders and upper thighs. Light spray of red ink on the hands and feet. Washed everything with a blue/red wash. Did the base while this was drying, then sprayed the figures from underneath with red. Lastly everything got an edge highlight with light pink, light blue, or bright red.
Thanks for the compliments on Belly everyone. More progress on him next weekend I promise, but nothing this week.

Quiet couple of weeks for me sadly. I fell out of the painting groove a bit and have struggled to pick it up again.
Managed to refine some of the blends on Belly’s robe. Need to go in with highlights, but I could do with painting the inside of the cloak beige before that.

In all my procrastinating I sketched in some nmm on a Finecrap crusader, and undercoated the horrendous Sister of Battle Shouty Woman, just as a bit of fun.

You can even try to use the same beige to highlight the reds, it can harmonize the inside and the outside of the cloak.
