Do you ever wonder if you can get fired for painting little Naked Women?

I would not surprise if there are other details behind this story
Butt Art
I always wonder if as an educator what would happen should it be found out that I sell little painted naked women on the internet and for fun.

What ever rocks your boat I guess.

Although for $900 a painting I guess the publicity of this has put him in a position whereby he couldn\'t give a damn about his school job.

Here, it would have been against the law to fire him if his art was the only reason...

I would think that would be illegal here too...BUT...many educators have \'decency\' clauses in their contracts. Who defines the decency is one thing, but I\'ll bet Mr. Butt-brush signed a contract with that sort of thing in it.

I hope not because after about 2 minutes of touch ups, I\'ll have a nude girl done tonight as well lol

Is it really legal to control a person\'s private activities in that way? I mean, it\'s not against the law to use your private parts to make paintings, so why should you loose your job over it? Would it be violating such a contract to walk around nude in your own apartment (if someone found out that you do this), for instance?

Would you want your kids being taught Art by a man who sticks his wang in a pot of paint then wipes it on canvas?

Hell, here they have a company that fired people who would smoke at home.

Hey better to be sticking his wang in paints then in our kids. I personaly see nothing wrong with what he is doing but then again I have been called liberal many times in my life (which is funny because I share most of Rush Limbaugh\'s views on things).

If he was competent as a teacher I wouldn\'t give a pig\'s fart what he does in his spare time.

i am an art teacher and i think that there is a huuuugee difference between painting half naked amazon\'s and smearing your genitals in paint. It\'s not wrong what he did, but he should know that 90% of your contracts have a morality clause in them and yes as an educator we should lead by example. Does it suck? Yes it does, but we should be ready for these possibilities when we plan on our jobs.

It is a scary thought...that Employers have that kind of power over thier employees (especially what they do in private) , but the contracts do exist.

However, if this guy was smart enough to \'wear a disguise\' because he thought something bad would happen, why did he agree to go on camera and film it for anyone to see? He obviously isn\'t the brightest bulb in the lamp, but then again he gets paid to wipe his ass on a canvas, so who am I to judge?lol

@uberdark
Who defines what is morally acceptable and decent, when it\'s not breaking the law? Is that clearly stated anywhere in those clauses? If it\'s not, then how would the contract be legally binding?

I agree , you can\'t compare the two things. Painting a picture or a miniature of a naked person, is vastly different to plopping your tackle in a tin of emulsion and painting cute pictures with it.

That is of course unless you use your wanger to paint mini\'s

I think what this guy did is a bit perverted, and a bit mentally unstable.

There are plenty of things that are legal but not moral. Who ever makes up these moral clauses are doing it for what they believe are the right reasons. Our kids are so easily lead astray that I really dont have a problem with this. If the guy wants to do this then good on him But if he wants to teach children then let him use a paint brush. I think it would be much scarier if there was no morallity clause in an educators contract.

There are no moral clauses for teachers here in Sweden... and we don\'t have any problems with children using their wangs to paint pictures.

Kids in general aren\'t stupid. Just because their world doesn\'t make sense in some respects to many parental observers doesn\'t make them stupid.

I\'m so much more worried about teachers not being able to teach then teachers painting with their penises on their sparetime.

Yeah these clauses scare me too.. \"voluntary\" coercion is always scary.
