I no more called you stupid than you called me stupid. I was unaware of your nationality, as you did not fill out the \"Location\" section of your account. I notice your English is far better than my French. My intent was not to attack you, but that word in particular hits a nerve.

As for complexity of the figures, I don\'t think the female form is easy to paint. I believe it would be easier to work in 15mm clothed than 28mm nude, and have done better on 1/220 vehicles (Car Wars) than I have in nudes of any scale.

Complexity is, of course, a huge factor in judging miniatures. Personally, I would no sooner give a well painted Silver Skull a 2 because I\'m sick to death of mark 6 armor than I would rate a poorly done Rainbow Warrior a 10 because \"0LD SK00L SM = R0XX0R!!!!!\" Either response would be, in my not so humble opinion, stupid.


And a one breasted figure would get the same bonus as a three breasted one, of course!

I think rating is based on the painter\'s skill, not in the model type itself -- a very good talented painter could make a snotling a dream --

I guess there\'s a range of opinion (hardly surprising) on how to rate figures. There are purists like Asphyx who try to rate only on the artistic merits of the paint job, gut reactors like Nailpainter2003, and regimented voters like Kittykat23uk.

Of course, there\'s a sliding scale and most voters will fall somewhere between these definitions. Even the examples I\'ve used most likely incorporate elements of other voting schema.

hmm.....all in all, not terribly enlightening. I guess the only thing I\'ve learned is that ZaPhOd is cool.
